Loving who you are

What do you see when you look at yourself in the mirror? Right, we see our physical bodies, of course. What the mind can conceive, it believes. Because you see yourself as only 'this physical body' you pay so much attention on how it looks, how the world around you perceives 'your body' , instead of the 'whole YOU' as a person, beyond the form and shape you occupies. And because you walk around, always conscious about how the world would perceive you as 'this person with this body, this skin color, this shape etc'; then you're unconsciously creating an 'energy blockage'.

Beyond this corporeal body, you also are a balance of energy, having a 'Light Body', unseen to the naked eyes, and this body is Spiritual in nature, which is the greater, more important part of who you are. If you begin to be conscious about you as the person having this Light Body, you would project out a different Image about yourself, which the world could perceive. The world's perception of You would be different. Try it out. And this only just by being conscious about your Light body.

Why am I telling you all this? Because if you could believe in the above, you could be happy, knowing that you have total control of your 'Energy level'; you would realise that 'your thoughts' are energy, your words, your actions - all are energy - energy that you're sending out to the world. To put it simply, it is like a boomerang, whatever you send out, will come back to you. And so you decide.

Love begets love. Believe it.

The Marmas (vital points) are a very important part of Ayurvedic anatomy. A Marmas point is defined as an anatomical site where flesh, veins, arteries, tendons, bones and joints meet up. There are 107 Marmas points throughout the body. Each point has its own intelligence and consciousness, which co-ordinates with the mind and body. Kinaesthesia, according to Oxford dictionary, n. a sense of awareness of the position and movement of the voluntary muscles of the body. I was glad when I found this word. Glad because there's a word to describe how I'm always aware of the strain i feel in certain musles if i cross my legs this way or that way. I will consciously reposition the way i sit or stand if I feel any strain or discomfort. I am always a believer that Good posture is important to a healthy spine and body. The main reason why people suffer from back pain, according to medical research is due to Bad Posture. A lot of people slouch when they sit or walk, without even realising it. I thought I start my blog with this very basic fact, in relation to what I mean by Conscious living, in its broader sense. But for now, it's time for extra dosage of my morning coffee!
